I was born in Bydgoszcz (Poland) . I started to learn the harp and trained the voice at a very early age. I graduated with distinction (first prize winner) from the Poznan Academy of Music (polish equivalent of the university education) in the harp. Here I also received my pedagogical diploma.
I started my career as the principal harpist of the Bialystok Philharmonic Orchestra. There I became a concert soloist and took part in the Polish Government Educational Program for schools. This involved organising concerts, and hosting television programs aimed at introducing classical music to schoolchildren. At this time I made many appearances on Polish television and radio.
I left Poland for an extended tour of Africa and the Middle East, which include performing in Djibouti, Yemen, and Jordan. During this tour I played a command performance in Amman for King Hussein of Jordan.
In early 1987 I took part in an International Harp Competition in Gargilesse France, where I became a finalist. Following this I performed in Kuwait. There I was also teaching at the Kuwait Higher Institute of Musical Art. Unfortunately the Gulf War put an abrupt end to this part of my career.
I moved to England in 1991 where I study Fashion Design and Art Design at the Loughton and Epping College (East London). In London I continued performing as a soloist, and undertook regular orchestral work in London. There I formed a very successful harp and flute duet, “Arpeggione”, and toured England.
In England started my interest in the electronic harp. In April 1994 I was invited to Poland to perform the world premier of a contemporary composition, “Concerto for Electric Harp and Orchestra” by M. Malecki. I was invited to play this concert by sponsor Victor Salvi, the world famous harp manufacturer.
During my time in England I appeared as a solo artist at all of the top hotels in London, including the Dorchester, Savoy, Claridges, Tower Hotel, Meridian, Ritz and at the Café Royal.
In 1995 I moved to Spain and since then I have been giving regular concerts with my harp and voice. Here in Spain I released my two compact disks : “Colores de Arpa” and “La Magia del Canto”.
In 1996 I won the 1st Price for Spain ( Barcelona) and 5th Price for Europe (Baden-Baden) of International Fashion Competition BURDA with my project in fashion design.
While living in Spain have been giving many concerts in Spain, France, England and Poland. My singing program ranges from opera, oratorio, zarzuela to musical theatre.
At the beginning of 1999 I co-founded Camerata Barroca, an ensemble devoted to vocal-instrumental music.
I am also a CONCERT PRODUCER & PROMOTER. I successfully created, directed and presented to the public of Spain two of my opera shows “ Cuatro Operas y Una Mujer” and “ Carmen” ( an opera – flamenco show).
